Gravity

True story.

Twenty years later, I'll still occasionally find myself sizing up the gravity-reversal safety of my surroundings.

Hahaha

I was thinking about what would happen if the world was turned upside down yesterday.

Now I know.

As a geology geek, of course I have to pipe up to say that geoscientists actually suspect that we may be in the early stages of a geomagnetic reversal (when the poles flip-flop). Sadly, the process takes thousands of years, and doesn't result in civilizations being flung off the surface of the globe. Probably.

And this would be why you are an artist: your brain works in unique ways.

Thats awesome. I used to think similarly about what would happen if gravity started pulling us horizontally.

Rob, holy shit, I had the EXACT same fear for awhile. Second grade. I think mine started after my first time in an airlane. I didn't tell anyone about it, just made up weird excuses about why I couldn't come out and play. I totally forgot about it until I saw your drawing. Thanks for helping me recover memories that years of drinking had successfully repressed.

well if sunspot activity continues to pick up, there might be a pole change on earth here, so we're all fucked, and then you won't be so worried about this gravity reversal situation, ha. funny though.
