A Plumber In The Third Dimension V2 - Now With Goomba, and Wallpapers
I never felt like I'd quite finished the Mario portrait I did a couple weeks ago. The background was rushed and I didn't have time to make the bricks change over as they should have. So since it proved to be so popular, I figured it was worth expanding upon a little bit. Here's version two, now with a Goomba:

Update: You can now order a limited run print of this image here.
WALLPAPER VERSIONS (RIGHT CLICK AND CHOOSE "SAVE AS" TO DOWNLOAD):
Standard Monitors (2400 x 1800)
Widescreen Monitors (2560 x 1600)
P.S. Someone asked me for an update on George Bush Super Ultimate Adventure. It's going well, just very slowly. There are a lot of graphics left to build and I have to find spare time to chip away at them. I'm going to keep at it though, there's been a ton of interest in the game so I'm hoping to get something playable out ASAP.

Absolutely stunning! My MacBook thanks you. On a related note, I am now currently 65 stars in to Super Mario Galaxy...absolutely addicting.
a wallpaper? it's too scary to me!
anyway you love transformation sequence...
Love the Goomba!
Nice job!
Goomba looks a little bit like a dick <.< >.>
Thanks for the update!!;)
That goomba gives me the creeps!!!
I get the feeling that if you were the art director for a new live action version of a Super Mario Bros. Film, that it would: 1) Rock!, and 2) have an ever so slight Jim Hensen creepy feel (i.e. The Dark Crystal).
I want to see you take on the other characters now!
You should make the robot block party a wallpaper. My personal favorite of you sketch blog work.
I like the creepy little Goomba. What is that thing, a mushroom with claws and (sharp) teeth? He's not happy. :( But I like him anyway. :) Glad you're back, Rob, hope you had a good Thanksgiving and ate lots of yummy food!
Ashley :)
you are weird.
you make me want to be a gamer
Looks realy great, Rob!
There weren't many games i was realy attached to as a kid, but i guess there's just something about Mario that irresistible. This brought back happy and cozy memories.
It never accured to me before, but gomba with one 'o' actually means mushroom in hungarian.
Petra
